Tutoring Peers and Student Athletes Across Multiple Subjects

In addition to my consulting work, I continue to serve as an academic tutor for peers and Division I student-athletes across economics, mathematics, and English. I intentionally teach across multiple disciplines because revisiting this material from different angles not only supports the students I work with, but continually strengthens my own analytical and communication skills. In my day-to-day tutoring, I focus on building meaningful rapport, offering individualized feedback, and adapting my instructional strategies by subject to maximize understanding and outcomes.

My teaching experience extends beyond one-on-one sessions. As both a Class Encore Leader and a Student-Athlete Tutor, I have facilitated weekly group sessions of up to 100 students, designing and administering self-authored practice exams and guiding collaborative walkthroughs of challenging economic concepts. Leading these sessions required concise communication, active listening, and close collaboration with faculty to ensure alignment with course objectives.

These roles have strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, make sound judgments under pressure, and create learning environments that drive meaningful, measurable success which are skills that directly support the clarity, collaboration, and high-quality outcomes I aim to bring to every professional setting.
